The 3014 is Texwrap’s intermittent motion side seal wrapper designed to run very large products at moderate speed. With a capacity of 30” wide and 14”tall, the 3014 is versatile enough to accommodate a variety of product sizes and configurations.

The 3014 uses Texwrap’s exclusive Versa Seal side seal to ensure consistent, high-quality seals across a wide range of film types. The TVS design also controls film tension allowing consistently strong seals to be made using the absolute minimum film width possible saving money on every package.

Flexibility and ease-of-use are hallmarks of Texwrap design. With standard auto spacing control, horizontal as well as vertical photo eyes, and the ability to precisely vary the conveyor speeds to relax the film between products, the 3014 can accommodate randomly fed or choke-spaced product and accurately separate them for reliable, consistent packages using the absolute minimum amount of film. The 3014 can also run either centerfold or flat film with the optional center folder.

The operator controls are located on a swivel-mount panel allowing it to easily be accessed from either side of the machine. The instructions are easy to understand, film threading is fast and easy, and, with the scrap winder in a very convenient location, operators are able to run the 3014 at maximum efficiency. With Allen-Bradley controls, AC inverter-duty motors, restricted service-level menus, and auto-tune heaters, the 3014 is as popular with maintenance staffs as it is with the operators.

SIDE SEAL WRAPPERS

Side sealers are generally considered the most flexible of the various wrapper styles and are often chosen by contract packagers who have the need to wrap a never-ending variety of packages. These wrappers encapsulate products in a continuous tube of film, sealing along one side of the package and then separating them into individual units downstream using a cross seal. Unlike L-bar sealers, side seal machines can run random products of infinite length.

Two-belt and three-belt side seal wrappers

Side seal wrappers come in two basic configurations: two-belt and three-belt. Two-belt sealers are made more compact by eliminating one of the infeed belts and making the end seal prior to the side seal. Not much longer than an L-sealer, two-belt units are often the logical choice when customers find themselves needing the ability to wrap longer products without greatly expanding the length of production lines. Three-belt side sealers have the added advantage of being able to precisely space the products prior to entering the wrapping area.

Texwrap side seal wrappers use Texwrap's exclusive TVS side seal to ensure Consistent, high-quality seals across a wide range of film types and gauges. The TVS is a very simple device yet offers outstanding control of the three elements necessary for a good seal: pressure, temperature and time. The TVS requires no air and has very few moving parts for ease of operation and minimal maintenance.

INTERMITTENT MOTION SIDE SEAL WRAPPERS

Intermittent motion sealers are used for slower applications. Unlike continuous motion wrappers, the end seal carriage on an intermittent motion wrapper remains stationary and does not move with the product which necessitates stopping the product stream momentarily as each seal is made.
